The first glance of the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 was a complete success. With the release of the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra, Samsung cemented its flagship lineup for 2022.
A true performance flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is encased in luxurious and durable glass and comes in four classic, nature-inspired colors: Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green and Burgundy.

The new Galaxy S22 series brings a number of refinements and new features. In terms of design and brand legacy, the Galaxy S22 Ultra underwent the most changes and adopted the design and functionality of the Galaxy Note lines.
Samsung is also touting improved low-light performance for both photos and videos and this is mainly due to processing. For photos, the entire S22 series uses a hybrid of pixel binning (combing multiple smaller pixels into a larger one) and high-resolution images to create photos with less image noise and better detail.
However, it's the Galaxy S22 Ultra that made the biggest splash, touted as Samsung's premium phone, which introduces the S Pen to the S series for the first time ever, paying homage to the now-canceled Note series.
Samsung claims the S22 Ultra has a faster response time for the S-Pen. The other changes are a bit more minor, including a slight redesign and updated night capabilities in the camera.
