Samsung Showdown: Note 9 vs. Note 8

With a Press Release date on August 9th, 2018 at the Samsung Unpacked Event, the Galaxy Note 9 has a high anticipation after the success of its predecessor the Galaxy Note 8. With much of its design being quite identical, including the now industry-standard infinity screen,  there are still some well speculated differences that are worth mentioning before you decide to purchase the new device.

 The Main (Rumored) Differences:
• Screen may be a tad smaller
• Jump in battery life from a 3300mAh to 4000mAh(Note 9)
• Bluetooth S pen (with possible remote control functions)
• Bixby 2.0
• Different placement of Dual Camera
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9810
• Android 9.0 P

With a new bluetooth S Pen, optimization for gaming would be higher, as well as unique features like utilizing the S Pen as a remote for your Camera. But regardless, access ports remain identical, sustaining its old design from Note 8.

Beautiful resolution with the infinity screen, also to note is the adjusting of placement of the Dual Camera. Upgrades in firmware, with rumors of the implementation of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9810.

The wide variety of colors is always nice, but with the rumors of a special gold color(possibly limited edition?) would be something consumers have not seen in awhile, and something definitely to look forward too!
